Bahamasair and Delta win NAD’s
1st Christmas Counter Decorating Contest
Â
Â
Airline staff at the Lynden Pindling International Airport got into the Christmas spirit this past December during NAD’s first Airline Christmas Counter Decorative Contest. Employees in the domestic and U.S. International departure terminals hung garland and lights at check-in counters, giving the entire airport a festive look. Airport managers judged the contest based on most creative design, best presentation and best original design and color.
Â
In the end, Delta Air Lines’ idea to suspend wrapped gift packages over their counter space won them the top prize in the U.S. Arrivals Ticketing category. Delta beat out six other competing airlines. Prizes including a commemorative plaque and a complimentary cake from the Swiss Bakery were presented to Sarah Roberts, Delta Station Manager and Jerry Rolle, Customer Service Supervisor.
Â
Bahamasair dominated in the Domestic-Charter Ticketing category, winning in the terminal with the most original counter space. Winners from both airlines will also be treated to a special luncheon, organized by NAD, for their participation.
Â
Prizes were presented by Nicole Wildgoose, Manager, Customer Experience at NAD.
