Nassau Airport Development Company and Vancouver Airport Services announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer at Lynden Pindling International Airport

 

Nassau, Bahamas June 22, 2010 – The Hon. Frank Watson, Chairman of the Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) and Mr. George Casey, President and CEO of Vancouver Airport Services (operator of the Nassau Airport Development Company) announced today that Mr. Craig Richmond, NAD’s President & CEO, has relocated to the UK to assume the role of President & CEO of three airports in north-west England.

 

Mr. Richmond’s appointment follows Vancouver Airport Services announcement today of the acquisition of a 65% share in Peel Airports Limited, which includes Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield, and Durham Tees Valley Airport.  Effective immediately, Mr. Stewart Steeves has been appointed to the role of President  & CEO of NAD.

 

Hon. Frank Watson said today “Mr. Richmond has contributed significantly to improvements we all enjoy at LPIA and the commencement of the terminal redevelopment program. On behalf of the NAD Board, we thank Mr. Richmond for his outstanding contributions to NAD over the past four years.�

 

Mr. Watson added, “Mr. Steeves has led NAD through many critical accomplishments in his previous roles as Vice President, Finance & CFO, and then Vice President, Airport Development. We look forward to Mr. Steeves providing continued leadership through the terminal redevelopment program and NAD’s other key initiatives such as improving operational and customer service at LPIA.�
