The Nassau Airport Development Company, known as NAD, has a 30 year contract to manage, operate, maintain and develop the Lynden Pindling International Airport. NAD is responsible for most of the physical infrastructure of the airport, such as parking lots, terminals and runways and taxiways.
Vancouver Airport Services (YVRAS) has a 10 year contract to provide the executive management of NAD. NAD is a private company which is owned by the government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. As a private company NAD receives no government guarantees or grants, and is a self sustaining commercial entity based on international best practices. |
