The Nassau Airport Development Company Limited (NAD) is a Bahamian company, owned by the Government of The Bahamas. NAD signed a 30-year lease with the government in April, 2007 to manage daily operations at the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA). The company will also oversee the $409.5 million airport redevelopment project.      In October, 2006, the Vancouver Airport Services (YVRAS) company signed a 10-year agreement to provide NAD with a management team to oversee the entire operation and to complete the redevelopment project. YVRAS also signed a
5-year project management agreement in April, 2007.

NAD is responsible for most of the physical infrastructure of the airport including parking lots, terminals, runways and taxiways. All revenue generating and commercial development projects are under NAD management. As a private company, NAD receives no government guarantees or grants and is a self-sustaining commercial entity based on international best practices.
